Office of Planning and Capital Projects


The DC Department of Parks and Recreation's (DPR) Office of Planning and Capital Projects (OPCP) oversees and manages all planning, design, and capital improvement efforts throughout DPR.

Working with divisions and offices throughout DPR, stakeholders, and the community, OPCP's projects provide needed enhancements to DPR facilities that result in improved programs and services.

16th Street Playground Renovation

The Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) completed renovations at the 16th Street Playground located at the DPR Headquarters 3149 16th Street, NW.

11th and Monroe Street Park Renovation

DPR has renovated the park at 11th and Monroe Streets, NW. The new park will feature a new playground; new plaza; landscaping; water fountain; and game tables.

The DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) Chevy Chase modernization project at 41st Street and Livingston Street, NW, is a full site renovation.
