Directions from H Street, NW (Downtown/Chinatown)

• Travel on H Street east until you cross over into northeast. Continue traveling east until H Street turns into Benning Road (which occurs when you cross the major intersection of H and Bladensburg Road).
• Continue on Benning Road for about a mile; you will pass an Exxon gasoline station on your right.
• The very next intersection will be Anacostia Avenue. You will see the sign on your right. Make a left onto the service road.
• You will see the signs that read “Department of Public Works Household Hazardous Waste”.
• Proceed down the service road until you approach the station of staff on your right who will direct you.

• Travel northwest on Pennsylvania Avenue, SE, toward 31st Street, SE.
• After about a mile, merge onto DC-295 NORTH.
• Stay on DC-295 NORTH for about 2 miles.
• Take the Benning Road exit on the LEFT.
• Make a slight left to take the Benning Road ramp.
• After exiting onto Benning Road, proceed about a quarter mile.
• At Anacostia Avenue make a right onto the service road.
• You will see the signs that read “Department of Public Works Household Hazardous Waste.”
• Proceed down the service road until you approach the station of staff on your right who will direct you.
