Press Release for Immediate Release February 14, 2007 Today’s Trash, Recycling, Bulk Collections Cancelled Due to Weather; Collections Will Resume Tomorrow (Washington, DC) The DC Department of Public Works (DPW) announced that because of the inclement weather, today’s trash, recycling and bulk collections will be treated as a holiday and collections will slide to the next day. Today’s collections will be made Thursday, Thursday’s collections will be made Friday, and Friday’s collections will be made Saturday.
