DPW, Frager’s to Talk Gardening During Live, Web Chat Thurs., April 30 at Noon

Monday, April 27, 2015
Participants invited to get answers to their toughest gardening questions

The Department of Public Works Helping Hand Program will join forces with Frager’s Lawn and Garden Center to help residents tackle their toughest gardening challenges during a live, online chat Thursday, April 30, 2015, from 12-1 pm. Whether you’re planting a flower box or a community garden, this online chat will help you grow your best.

DPW’s Helping Hand Program helps community groups organize neighborhood clean-up and community garden projects by lending tools, trash bags and providing free compost. Frager’s, located on Capitol Hill, has been a locally owned and operated hardware store since 1920.

To participate in the session once it has begun, visit dpw.dc.gov/livechat or select the “Live Chat” photo up at the top of DPW’s homepage. Transcripts of all chat sessions can be reviewed after the session by following these same instructions.
