The Department of Public Works Helping Hand Program will once again join forces with DC’s popular Frager’s Lawn and Garden Center to help residents tackle their toughest gardening challenges during a live, online chat Thursday, March 31, 2016, from 12 -1 pm. Whether you’re planting a flower box or a community garden, this online chat will help you grow your best.
DPW’s Helping Hand Program helps community groups organize neighborhood clean-up and community garden projects by lending tools, trash bags, and providing free compost. Frager’s, located on Capitol Hill, has been a locally owned and operated hardware store since 1920.
