(Washington, DC)  The DC Department of Public Works announced today that the Blue Plains Impoundment and Storage Facility at 5001 Shepherd Parkway, S.W., will close 30 minutes early, at 5:30 pm Friday, August 8 while employees participate in a training program.  The facility’s normal hours are weekdays between 8 am and 6 pm. The closest Metro stop is the Anacostia Subway Station. Customers may call the impoundment lot at 202-541-6083.

All fines, boot and/or tow fees must be satisfied before the vehicle will be released. These fees may be paid online by debit or credit card (Visa, MasterCard and Discover only, and cash or checks are not accepted) at the Blue Plains Impoundment Lot or at the Department of Motor Vehicles.
