Department of Public Works (DPW) Street and Alley Cleaning Division will hold a live, online chat discussion to respond to residents’ questions regarding the preparation for leaf collection season and to also discuss street cleaning issues on Wednesday, October 27, 2010, at noon. Residents can join or follow the discussion at dpw.dc.gov/livechat once the chat session begins.
Leaf collection season begins Friday, November 8. Mechanical Street Sweeping for the year will end Friday, October 29.
This will be the ninth in a series of monthly online chats with DPW Director William O. Howland Jr. and other DPW officials. Next month’s online chat will address snow operations.
