The Department of Public Works invites residents to “Twitter Talk” about DPW’s leaf collection service Thursday, December 15, from 12:00-1:00 pm. During this time, participants can ask questions and receive vital information about leaf season, which began November 7, and runs through January 14.

DPW’s Twitter Talk is a live discussion that takes place on Twitter and covers a different topic each month. Tweets related to the discussion are labeled with a specific hashtag--a word or phrase preceded by the “#” sign. December’s Twitter Talk will use #DCLeaf.

Anyone with a Twitter account can participate by following @dcdpw or by searching the discussion’s hashtag: #DCLeaf. Use this hashtag when sending Tweets related to this “Twitter Talk” and to follow the discussion.
