Holiday Tree & Greenery
The DC Department of Public Works (DPW) will collect holiday trees and greenery between January 2 and February 28 from DPW-serviced households. Learn more about this year’s holiday tree and greenery collection.
Leaf Season has arrived!
The second pass at leaf collection in Section A in Wards 1-8 is underway. The second pass for leaf collection in Section B in Wards 1-8 will begin the week of January 19. Section B, please have your leaves at the tree box or curbside by Sunday, January 18. Click below to find your section and stay updated throughout the season.

Since its pilot in 2007, MuralsDC has painted nearly 150 murals in every ward of the city–more than any other entity in the District. While most of the artists are local, the program has worked with artists across the country & around the world, creating some of the most engaging and photographed murals in the region.
