(Washington, DC) - Due to the current weather conditions, DC government offices and DC Public Schools and administrative offices will be closed tomorrow (Thursday). However, all essential personnel must report on time.

Mayor Vincent C. Gray said the closings will allow DPW snow plows to clear the roads, crews and residents can clear sidewalks, Pepco crews will be able to repair downed utility lines in order to restore power to homes and businesses without electricity, and other necessary operations can be performed unimpeded.

Residents should monitor local media outlets, as well as visit www.dc.gov, www.dcps.dc.gov, www.dpw.dc.gov for snow updates.
