DPW to Discuss Residential Bulk Collection and Drop Off at Ft. Totten Transfer Station during Web Chat on Wed., Aug. 29

(Washington, DC) The Department of Public Works (DPW) Solid Waste Disposal team will hold a live, online chat to discuss the rules for bulk collection at home as well as for bringing bulk items to the Ft. Totten Transfer Station on Wednesday, August 29, 2012, at 12 pm. The goal of the Web chat is to provide general information and address any missed pickups or confusion regarding drop off rules at Ft. Totten. The team will also discuss other services available at Ft. Totten including Household Hazardous Waste and Electronic Waste recycling.

To participate in the session once it has begun, visit dpw.dc.gov/livechat. Transcripts of all chat sessions can be reviewed after the session by following these same instructions.
