Wednesday, April 24, 2013
DPW’s online chats are held at noon each month with DPW Director William O. Howland Jr. and other DPW officials

(Washington, DC)  The Department of Public Works Helping Hand Program will join forces with Frager’s Lawn and Garden Center to help residents tackle their toughest gardening challenges during a live, online chat Thursday, April 25, 2013, from 12 - 1 pm. Whether you’re planting a flower box or a community garden, this online chat will help you grow your best. The chat will also provide information for residents looking to coordinate neighborhood clean-up activities.

DPW’s Helping Hand Program helps community groups organize neighborhood clean-up and community garden projects by lending tools, trash bags, and providing free compost. Frager’s, located on Capitol Hill, has been a locally owned and operated hardware store since 1920. Christine Moschetti, an expert in Frager’s Lawn and Garden Center will be a guest participant on the live chat.
