On Saturday, Mayor Bowser’s DC Snow Team will gather for a Snow Summit to officially kick off the 2018-2019 winter season. The full, 800+ DC Snow Team will be in attendance to review and discuss District specific challenges and solutions to severe weather, road treatment, and snow removal operations.
As part of the summit, the leadership of the DC Snow Team will hold a press conference to discuss the upcoming winter season. The press conference will also feature an equipment demonstration including a heavy plow and the machines used to clear District bike lanes.
