(WASHINGTON, DC) The DC Department of Public Works announced that the Blue Plains Impoundment Lot at 5001 Shepherd Parkway, SW will close at 4:15 pm today due to a Pepco power outage, affecting the its operations. DPW expects the lot to be operational at 8 am Thursday, January 21. Storage fees will not be charged for vehicles that owners cannot retrieve this afternoon. The lot’s normal hours of operation are 8 am to 7 pm weekdays.
