DPW Director to Host First Live, Online Chat

Citizens are invited to join in hour-long discussion on snow clearing in the District.

(Washington, DC) Department of Public Works (DPW) Director William O. Howland Jr. will take questions from an online audience during a live, one-hour chat on Wednesday, January 27, 2010, at noon. Director Howland will discuss the District’s efforts during snow events and how residents can help keep city streets and sidewalks safe.

The public can join or follow the discussion at dpw.dc.gov/livechat and submit questions in advance on DPW’s Twitter account, Facebook page, or by email to [email protected]. Director Howland will answer as many questions as possible.
