(Washington, DC) In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the Department of Public Works (DPW) offices will be closed and most public services will be suspended on Monday, January 16. There will be no trash or recyclables collection; no DPW parking enforcement, including meters, rush hour and residential zone enforcement; and no booting or abandoned vehicle removal on Monday. All municipal services resume on Tuesday, January 17.
Following the Monday holiday, trash and recyclables collection will slide one day for the remainder of the week in Supercan areas. In twice-weekly collection areas, service will slide on Tuesday and Wednesday, with normal collections on Thursday and Friday.
