DPW Temporarily Suspends Morning Residential Street Sweeping Operations Tues., Sept. 11

Normal sweeping will resume in the afternoon, starting at 12:30 pm

(Washington, DC) The DC Department of Public Works announced today that residential street sweeping will be suspended temporarily citywide the morning of Tuesday, September 11, to allow DPW’s sweeper operators to pay their last respects to a long-time co-worker. Morning street sweeping occurs between 9:30 am and 11:30 am. Parking enforcement for street sweeping violations also will be suspended between 9:30 am and 11:30 am.

Normal street sweeping will resume Tuesday afternoon, starting at 12:30 pm and will continue through 2:30 pm. Parking enforcement of street sweeping violations also will resume.
